Donít extinguish the spirit Edited by Albert Raffelt

Donít extinguish the spirit
Edited by Albert Raffelt

In this lecture from 1952, shortly before the II Vatican Council, Karl Rahner urgently warns of the danger of extinguishing Godís Spirit in the church. He sees the charismatic element seriously under threat. The regularity of routine, cowardice and lack of passion threaten to extinguish the Spirit. Rahner encourages us to break boundaries and not shy away from inevitable antagonism within the church.
